2025 Australian Track & Field Championships

2025 saw two Preston athletes, Chloe Grenade and Frank Brisevac (both coached by John Boas), travel to Perth to compete at the Australian Track & Field Championships. Both athletes worked hard to overcome injuries prior to the Championships.

Facing an extremely strong field in the Men’s Triple Jump, Frank jumped a season best of 14.53m to finish 18th. Having nailed her first jump in Women’s Triple Jump qualifiers, Chloe progressed to the final with a jump of 12.72m. Chloe backed up her qualifier with a jump of 12.71m to finish an impressive 5th. Making the most of her time in Perth, Chloe also featured in the Women’s Long Jump, where she jumped 5.74m.
