2023/24 Victorian Track & Field Championships

We’d like to beging by congratulating all our athletes who represented the club at the 2023/24 South Melbourne Physio Victorian Track & Field Championships. This year we had an increase in representatives, with six athletes competing across both junior and open categories.

Chloe Grenade wins the open women’s triple jump for a fourth consecutive year.

A special congratulations must go to Frank Brisevac on a fantastic comeback having taken time away from the sport for a number of years. Frank finished 4th in the open men’s triple jump with an impressive 14.17m (1.1).

Anwita Prasanth concluded her first season of track & field with and impressive 6th place in the U14 women’s triple jump final.

For a fourth consecutive year, Chloe Grenade took out the open women’s triple jump title. Chloe’s jump of 12.61m (0.3) saw her finish on the podium for a second time during these championships, having already finished 3rd in the open women’s long jump thanks to a 6.00m (0.4) jump.
